Al Schnur, Ph.D.

With over 30 years of experience in the talent assessment industry, Al Schnur has been a cornerstone of PCI since he first joined in 1991. After a successful tenure, he returned in 2001 to lead PCI talent assessment solutions into its next chapter. Al is dedicated to cultivating long-term client relationships, empowering his teams to innovate and enhance processes, and advising C-suite executives and boards on strategic succession planning.
Prior to becoming CEO of PCI, Al honed his skills at Development Dimensions International (DDI), where he specialized in designing assessment centers, 360-degree feedback processes, performance management, and training programs. His journey also included a pivotal role at ePredix, an internet start-up focused on developing online candidate screening tools. Over his career, Al has conducted more than 5,000 assessments, positively impacting over 150,000 candidates through the programs he designed.
Al holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Kansas State University and both a Master’s and Doctorate in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Louisiana State University. Al is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
