  • Research. If that word doesn't sound like fun to you - we've got you covered!  We continually read new studies in journals published by, and affiliated with, the American Psychological Association to gain the latest insights into the relationship between job performance and the structure of personality, cognitive processes, leadership style, and situational factors.
  • Psychometrics. Figuring out which tools to use can be daunting.  We've done that work for you!  We have access to many assessment platforms and hundreds of online tools.  We rigorously evaluate the reliability and validity evidence of those tools and use our expertise to create a variety of customized test batteries.  And, we conduct validation studies for our clients to provide evidence of the predictive validity of our robust assessments.

Al has had a long and impressive career in the human capital management and executive assessment fields, joining PCI originally in 1991, and returning to lead PCI’s next chapter in 2001.

As President, he consults with companies to review their organizational, staffing, and succession management processes. He also consults on best practices and the integration of key human resources areas, such as individual and executive assessment, succession planning and management development, and performance management.

Al has personally conducted more than 5,000 high-level evaluations during his career, and is particularly proud that more than 250,000 candidates have participated in assessment programs he designed.  At present, Al focuses on C-level succession planning and assessment in support of CEOs, Boards and other high-level stakeholders.

Al received his doctorate from Louisiana State University (LSU) in 1991 in Industrial/Organizational Psychology with a minor in Management. He also received his master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from LSU, and his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Kansas State University. He is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology and the Association for Corporate Growth.

Keith Francoeur, Psy.D., Vice President, Assessments

Since joining the company in 2005, Dr. Keith Francoeur has been involved with thousands of assessments, from the individual contributor to the executive level, for domestic and global organizations of diverse industries and sizes, from small non-profits to Fortune 500 companies.

In addition to performing assessments personally as a practitioner-scientist, he is responsible for training and managing PCI’s global assessment team and modifying PCI’s assessment battery, reporting, and product offerings based on the latest research.

Keith received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire in 1997, a Master of Arts in Psychology from Boston University in 2000, and a Doctor of Psychology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2008. His dissertation leveraged archival assessment data from PCI and examined the relationship between an individual’s personality and their leadership style. He is currently a member of the Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP), where he has presented research on the predictive power of PCI’s assessments at the annual conference.

Born and raised in New Hampshire, Keith moved to Boston and then Western Pennsylvania to pursue his graduate degrees. After spending almost 18 years away, he moved back to the Northeast last year and now works remotely in New London, Connecticut. In addition to rescuing animals, he is passionate about learning, especially as it relates to the structure and predictive power of personality and sharing those insights with candidates and clients.

Throughout her 20+ years in the talent assessment industry, Deborah has gained a wealth of specialized knowledge and skills that greatly benefit PCI and our clients.

Deborah joined the company in 2007 as Senior Consultant/Assessor after garnering in-depth experience with designing assessment tools, staffing large-scale start-ups, and running assessment centers while working for Select International (now, Talogy).

Over the years, she has worked with clients in a broad range of industries, including manufacturing, retail, transportation, telecommunication, healthcare and insurance, as well as non-profit and government agencies. Her expertise includes competency modeling, selection system design and implementation, the validation of hiring tools, behavioral interviewing, and executive assessment. She also works closely with executive coaches to provide insights from PCI's talent assessments that facilitate the coaching engagement.

Deborah earned a dual bachelor’s degree in English and Psychology from the University of Notre Dame, and a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
